Catarina’s ability to understand people, organizations and break down processes and ideas down to their basic parts, allowed her to find innovative approaches to problems, optimizing processes and being an agent of change.
Curious by nature and a people’s person at heart, Catarina started her career as a clinical psychologist and, after three years working in clinical assessment and intervention, she decided to pivot her career and stumbled into the corporate world in a multinational chemical company. She quickly realized that her deep passion for psychology was a perfect fit for her new role in customer operations.
As a self-motivated, focused and enthusiastic individual, Catarina was swiftly honored with internal awards due to her positive financial contributions to the company. These actions influenced her to evolve into a commercial role, where she exceeded sales expectations for 2 consecutive years and more recently into a Marketing position - Catarina is now responsible for planning and driving the marketing strategy for Core Europe within four different business segments.
Catarina has a broad mindset and effectively appreciates all of the complexities and connects it with data. Nevertheless, it’s her enthusiastic approach to improvement and to make change happen, within people surrounding her, that generates positive impact for both organization and team culture.
