FOCUSED ON A CONTINUOUS PATHWAY TO GROWTH

Susana is pragmatic, agile and persistent individual, who constantly challenges herself out of the comfort zone while always maintaining her sense of humor.

She started her career in 2004, at Soares da Costa, and after just 10 months, she was given the opportunity to fulfill her life-long ambition of an international experience as the company’s first contracted woman to work in production area in Angola. For about 12 years, she strived in her roles both as a Project Director and, later on, when she got promoted to Division Director.

A proud owner of a high sense of mission and purpose, Susana believes the country's limitations were not an obstacle, but a catalyst to her persistence and ability to overcome herself. She also highlights her ability to deal with people from different backgrounds, nationalities, cultures and beliefs as also the ability to work under pressure and as team player.

From 2017 to June 2019, she performed the role of Production Manager in a smaller construction company, where her main challenges were facing management’s resistance to change as well implementing organizational procedures and operational management of scarce resources in order to achieve results.
