Managing is a fundamental part of Gustavo's character.
Right after finishing his degree, Gustavo joined UNICER Bebidas S.A as a Junior Brewing Manager, where he immediately highlighted himself after successfully developing and leading several high-performance teams and projects in brewing and packaging operations. This accomplishment granted him an invitation to join a talent development program for high potential young managers.

In April 2008, Gustavo embrace another lifechanging challenge, for Castel-Group and flew to Angola. During an eleven-year period, he had the opportunity to expand three new greenfield breweries and revamp two other brewing plants. Gustavo also managed entire projects of these new plants, it's installation, the commissioning of several equipment, built and trained new teams, developed the branding process and invented new recipes.
Subsequently, he was awarded with the global technical operations role for the entire group, as a board member.
